 Pastor Doug Shelley has been the pastor of ESBC for almost thirty years and has been in the ministry for over fifty years. Before coming to Big Spring he and Jackie worked in several ministries to include; Youth Leaders in Victoria and San Antonio Tx. They were part of the Lighthouse Children Homes for several years, served as Missionaries in New Zealand. They taught in Christian Schools and they even cleaned a few Churches. They have been faithful to the LORD for many years and would love to have you visit ESBC at your next opportunity. 

Associate Pastor Craig Bedenbender has evangelized and pastored since he was nineteen years old. He and his wife Amanda, who has faithfully helped him with his ministry, both obtained their associates degree in Biblical Studies from Faith Bible Institute. Later, Craig went on to obtain his Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies from Louisiana Baptist University, and his Master’s in Organizational Leadership. Before coming to East Side Baptist, Craig pastored churches in Tennessee, Virginia, as well as served as youth pastor at churches in Texas. Craig and Amanda have one daughter Grace, who is also active in the ministry and has been on several mission trips. Before coming to East Side Baptist Church, Craig pastored churches in Tennessee and Virginia. He has served as a youth pastor at churches in Texas as well.
